When I was about 23, I tried Propecia (Finasterid) for about 4 month … And yes, something happened - but not exactly what I expected.
After I took it for a while, I noticed that after urinating, some more drops ended up in my pants than I was willing to accept. Well, even some drops are too many ;-) .... but I really got the feeling that I somehow couldn't control it any more as good as I should be able to.
I regularly hat wet pants after a while ... and than I started to make the connection to Propecia.
Wasn't it originally used as a medication against enlarged prostate? Hmm, that means to me that it makes the prostate "smaller" ... . Or at least can have something to do with that. Because ... correct me if I'm wrong, but the prostate has something to do with keeping the urine in the bladder, doesn't it? Or at least you often hear of older men that have problems with their prostate ... and have to run to the restrooms all the time.
Well, that was reason enough for me to stop taking Propecia ... and indeed, after a couple of weeks, I didn't have any problems any more. And fortunately (... for me at that time...), I found something that worked way better for me. See here... .
